Since his first endeavors in 1985, Claude Portelance has worked hard to ensure his projects and his company were  synonyms of quality and trust for his clientele, who was mostly residential at that time.

 

In 2000, Claude agreed to take part in multiple construction projects in the commercial, industrial and institutional sectors as a contracted project manager.  After collaborating on several simultaneous projects, Claude founded Claude Portelance Construction Inc by the end of 2002, allowing him to bring his work closer to his home and his family.​

 

Being involved in the family business from a young age, it was only natural for Carl (Claude's eldest son) to join Claude Portelance Construction Inc.

By the end of 2010, Carl founded Portex Enterprises Ltd., with a business vision focused on services to companies and industries (Commercial and Industrial). He will leave the family business for a few years, acquiring experience and knowledge in the electrical, civil engineering, petroleum and retail sectors before returning and becoming an associate to Claude Portelance Construction Inc. in 2022.

In 2017, Charles-Olivier (Claude's second son) completed an internship with the company's field team. After taking a liking to the work environment, he pursued working during his studies and became a permanent member of the team once his studies were completed.
